living-in-lakeview:

I am a planner. I get that it can be annoying to people. And I try to not be too uptight about it.

But texting me, “It means we don’t know yet… Just relax” is not the way to get me to try to be spontaneous. In fact, it just increases the chances that I will not be coming out at all tonight.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable for me to know if I’m supposed to meet you out for dinner before drinks or eat at home before going out for drinks.

This post triggered a realization about myself: I am not a planner. In fact, if I make plans too far in advance (i.e. 2+ hours), I usually start dreading them and, as many of you know, will bail with a sometimes unreasonable amount of notice. But, if you call me at 6 and ask if I want to nosh on some food at 7, I’ll be there. If I have less than an hour to be somewhere, my window of opportunity for flaking slams shut before I’ve mustered up the courage to jump out.

Man, that’s so sad.  And rude. Sorry guys.
